Refrigerator is used to make liquid change to solid state, but air conditioning is just function to make the air become cool or other liquid become cool.

On the process of refrigeration or cooling need tree main kind of process:

• Evaporation: Evaporator performs of this process. Indirect heat exchanger where refrigerant absorbs heat from the substance to be cooled
• Compression: To perform this process need compressor. Mechanical work is expended by taking the low pressure, low temperature vapor refrigerant and turning it into high pressure, high temperature vapor
• Condensation: Condenser will do this process. An indirect heat exchanger in which the refrigerant rejects heat to a cooling medium such as air or water (fresh or sea)
